Apache-2.0 Permissive Licensing

NeuronScope is released as open-source software under the permissive Apache License 2.0.

This ensures that developers, researchers, startups, and enterprise organizations can inspect, modify, embed, extend, and deploy NeuronScope across commercial products and infrastructure without restrictive licensing barriers.

Open Container & Fingerprint Standards

We believe foundational AI engineering standards should be open and accessible:

  • .nsz Container Specification: Fully open, self-describing binary format for AI telemetry, using zstd compression and JSON manifests.
  • Canonical Fingerprinting Standard: Open BLAKE3-based hashing specification for neural network architectures, vector store indexes, and prompts.
  • Open Schema Integration: Standard JSON/Protobuf schemas for metric exporting, OpenTelemetry tracing, and evaluation outcomes.

Community & Transparent Governance

We actively welcome community contributions, custom framework adapters, evaluation plugins, and documentation improvements from developers around the world.

Zero Vendor Lock-In

NeuronScope is engineered to integrate natively with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, vLLM, Pinecone, Qdrant, Chroma, Milvus, and custom enterprise stacks without locking teams into proprietary cloud ecosystems.
